i dont think theres anything wrong with the Behringer mixer. i was looking into one myself. they are cheap and yes i guess you may need to take a lil care with it. Behringer are a lil weird with there stuff they make. they can make real shit stuff and at the same time make realy realy good stuff! so over time i guess you will find out. maybe if you keep askin around and seeing what a few other people think. _________________ "Yeh, I'm a club head. | I had one mate was really good never had any problems with it, good value for money although the effects on it arent as effective as they are on the Pionner mixers |

| i would look at the prices of alternatives first before paying the money for one! cos if its not too much extra for a better brand, maybe like a pioneer, you should think about paying the extra |

Can't beat a Pioneer though, I'd personally go for the DJM400 if you was trying to keep the price down, my only regret about having a DJM400 and not the 600/700/800 is that I wouldn't mind having a 3rd deck to whack accapella's over the top every now and then |

Hi mate, my mate had one of these for about 18 months and had no problems with it apart from near the end when the faders started to go.
He just house mixes as well - no scratching or anything - so just be prepared to replace the faders regularly if thats your thing.
One thing I found anoying with them was using the fader gave you very little sound from the channel you were mixing in, and then all of a sudden a big increase in volume, but I got round it by using the rotary gain knobs at the top.
Decent buy for the money. _________________ Love house till I die |

I'd go with the Pioneer mixers only. I got a DJM 400 2-channel mixer. Behringer 700 is good too. I've played on it but wasnt satisfied as far as the effects are concerned.
If u r a DJ who is content doing just beatmatching, then u can go for the behringer one. Its quite economical too.
But if u r one crazy dj like me, for whom making the set more impressive & different matters more than the cost of the equipment, then Pioneer is a better deal !
Cheers ! _________________ REgards,

The Behringer 600 look a like, is a great mixer if you are on a bidget. The ONLY major difference between the 2 is that the 600 has effects that actually do stuff. The Behringer has effects but after cycling through them all they are almost all the same. Its quite nerve wrecking. But still, considering it is hundreds less than the 600, it is worth it. _________________ www.myspace.com/dj_anthonypaul |

Behringers are good mixers although the crossfaders go quite quick as nicky said, big shame but you can't complain for the prices |
