Hey, I've just recently started DJing. I don't have the cash to build up a substantial enough vinyl or CD collection so I'm using all digital and just working with Traktor on my laptop. My question will probably seem obvious to many on here but I was wondering how I go about getting the 2 channels I need out through the laptop- one through the speakers and one through my headphones. There is only one soundcard in it at the moment, do I need to get another one to allow me to run the two lines out? If so can I get some kind of external one? Most people I know use Macbooks - do you know if this makes a difference? I really can't afford a Mac though so I'm hoping there will be a way to do it on the computer I have.
Thanks. |

Wait a second, me again. I just found this
www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/TorqMixLab-main.html
Does this do the same thing as adding an extra sound card?
It seems to only require the basic laptop with windows installed an it'll run. It claims to allow headphone cueing and all the rest.
Thoughts? |
