Delving back and even deeper into Belfast’s thriving techno scene, this time with a two track EP from the rising duo Jet Project. The Saber Force Ep is the much anticipated follow up to Jet Projects recent and much coveted Darkroom Dubs - Shudder EP.
Keeping good momentum on this one Jet Project deliver once again on this outstanding 2 track release. Title track “Saber Force” offers bouncy big room bliss, with its funk driven rolling bassline and staggered old school techno stabs alongside truly new school percussion it’s a fine groove and even finer example of unison between the new and old techno sounds.
On the flip “Pulse” is a fine balance on this package, keeping the big room sound but with serious underground appeal it twists and turns before it drops into a throbbing deep and pulsating (excuse the pun) bassline. Full of atmosphere its defiantly one for the late night, complimenting deep vocal hits round things off on this making for a truly memorable and very appealable across the board release.

Arveene "This is Quality from the North men... so much good music coming from them.. it looks like they have landed another hit with this ep"
Anderson noise "I like Timmy Stewart's Pulse the best"
Indo phunk "Really love this E.P lads, Sabre Force is a serious piece of work..peak time mayhem..Digging Pulse as well, it's a touch more relaxed but very good, keep up the great work"
Perc "Cheers for this. Both tracks are good. Saber Force is my favourite, it skips along very nicely but both will get a few plays from me"
Maziar Namvar "Saber Force is sick! I love this new school approach to that classic Detroit vibe. Will bang this for sure"
"Pulse" has also been played by John Digweed in Fabric last month and has been getting great receptions all over, we are hoping for big things from the EP, our last release "McKenna" nearly made the top 50 on the techno charts on beatport so hoping this time we can push things a little further!
