I have a video that only teaches a few, such as the Baby Scratch, the Flail, the Orbital, the Crab, and the Euro Scratch. Anyone know a site that teaches you many more kinds of scratching maneuevers step by step, and possibly with sound samples so I know what they sound like? Thanx in advance. Very Happy

You might be interested in The Tutoritoolâ„¢ - the worlds first interactive turntablism tutorial record

Created by the necessity for DJ’s and musicians to gain a better understanding of turntablism, the Tutoritool™ teaches the fundamental skills behind turntable music creation. The double vinyl package contains two sides of lessons, exemplifying the most popular scratch techniques and then applying these to the task of composition. The DJ can practice alongside recorded examples to improve technique, or become a turntable musician by accompanying the virtual turntable band. Flip over to the second side of the Tutoritool™ and you have two copies of a suite of instrumentals and sounds to create turntable jazz, hip-hop, rock or drum ‘n’ bass using both traditional instrument sounds and classic scratch samples.

3. Practice with a virtual turntable band before sharing your skills with other turntablists.

8. Virtual 303 groove - make your own 'acid box' bass lines with your turntable.

9. Virtual vocalist groove - make your turntable sing.

10. Jugglers beats - hone your beat juggling skills with beats that loop on every revolution of the record.

Also check this site out. http://www.battlestyle.org/index.php

You will find some excellent examples of scratching on the new files section half way down the home page. Not sure if the site contains any scratching videos yet though.
