All Crews - Knowledge Mag

Journeys through Jungle, drum n bass culture.

Official press release.

Vision Publishing, the publishers of Knowledge magazine, are publishing
their first book in December. Entitled All Crews it's a journey through
drum & bass culture from its inception by the author Brian
Belle-Fortune. All Crews is filled with an innovative series of
snapshots of the jungle / drum & bass scene. Featuring interviews with
the music's top artists, it delves deeper, looking at the pirate radio
stations, labels, crews, promoters and ravers which form the backbone
of the scene around the world. More than just history, All Crews is
written from three different perspectives: the journalist, the insider
and the raver. Portraying an unseen slice of life, it gives voice to a
diverse yet closely-knit community.

A scene where lines of race and cultures are blurred, where Tottenham youth party with Oxford graduates, and the music that draws them together dancing under one roof is jungle. The book will be 220mm x 175mm in size, paperback with full colour cover and the text will consist of 240 black & white pages.

Vision are publishing All Crews as part of Knowledge magazine's tenth
birthday celebrations. You'll be able to buy All Crews from
www.knowledgemag.co.uk for £15.
