Hi all.
After doing a couple of gigs in large venues we have been forced to hire some pretty powerful lights to fill the space. The ones the shop recommended were a pair of abstract XP-5s and I have to say they are sweet. Really fill up the room and have some cool effects.
However we're tired of having the hire all the time! It's just money down the drain every time we do a gig. I found a pair of Acme Falcon HID gobo's, which are also DMX compatible. These seem like a reasonable alternative but I have never seen them working and I'm really not so sure. Anyone got any experience with these type of lights and want to shed some light on the subject? I'm looking to spend £300, possibly a little more if necessary but £350 is my limit.
Heres the link to the lights, there's a video too but you can only tell so much from a video!

Also, I was looking at an Acme ImpossiLED. Despite the rather silly name, I've heard some really good things about it. Any comments recommendations?
Cheers for any input! |

| They're £239 a piece. But strange thing is I can't seem to find em anywhere on the net, only my local store seems to sell them! |
