Put your cursor on the graph and right click if you're on PC...
or
control+click if you're on MAC.
This will bring up a window where you can choose the spacing between the grid. _________________ www.myspace.com/dj_anthonypaul |

This would be in the audio effects tab located on the left.
It should be the second option down and it looks like a window (or a square with a line through the top of it).
If you click on that you will get a few folders. One of them is called "Audio Effects".
Just start experimenting with all the effects. A good thing to start out with is an auto filter. Just double click on the word auto filter (instead of using the drop down arrow) and it will add the filter to whatever channel you have selected.
If you are working on a synth or a vocal or whatever, use the following:
There are 4 options on the left side in the middle. Click on the second one from the left. Its the picture of a line starting on the bottom left and going up and then curving to the right.
This will make the sample practically go away. If you click on the yellow circle, use the arrow keys on your keyboard and tap the left arrow. You will hear the sound filter in. Stop pressing the left arrow when the sample sounds like it did prior too. What this does is take out the lower end frequencies so that the sample doesnt clash with the bass kick, bass line, or any other low sound(s).
Anyways, just mess around with all those effects. You can even put the same effect on a sample a couple times or more to make it sound wierder/cooler. _________________ www.myspace.com/dj_anthonypaul |
